Upload/paste an image or video. Toggle Animate for animated GIFs or videos; the converter will sample frames to produce ASCII at chosen FPS.
The converter samples the image brightness and maps levels to characters (the chosen ramp). For colored HTML output each character is wrapped in a <span> with inline color. If animation is enabled, GIF frames or video frames are sampled and converted continuously at the chosen FPS.
